March 2023 – A film screening at New Lynn Community Centre We had so much fun. We gathered at @newlynncommunitycentre and watched a movie followed by a conversation about the story of the movie and its characters. It was a fun night.

February 2023 – Solidarity workshop for Afghan-Iranian women Our first solidarity workshop for Afghan-Iranian women was held today. In addition to a common language, Afghans and Iranians have lots of cultural ties. We came together today to make new friendships and learn some delicious Afghan sweet and bread.

February 2023 – Community cooking day Today was one of those days at @homeland.nz Restaurant: community cooking day😀. Iranian community got the chance to demonstrate how to cook a #persiandish (#tahchin)to @chefpetergordon and his team. We also learned how to make #cremebrulee from Peter. November 2022 – Panel Discussion on Women’s Activism against Discrimination, Violence, Misogyny, and Patriarchy in Iran, Afghanistan, and New Zealand We had an amazing panel discussion with Reihana Attaee, Josie Pagani, Samira Ghoreishi, Kat Eghdamian Lida Ayoubi We talked about women’s rights and the causes of violence against women.
