IWIN’s Board of Trustees

Dr. Forough Amin

Founder & Chairperson

With a PhD in Discourse Studies and a passion for women’s rights, I founded Iranian Women in NZ (IWIN) in 2020. As a migrant woman who arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2015, I faced numerous challenges. Driven by my experiences, I created IWIN as a safe space for Farsi-speaking women to connect, share, and grow together. My goal was to foster a supportive community where women could empower each other and thrive.
