June 2022 – The women employment action plan

I attended the Ministry for Women’s event launching the women employment action plan in the morning. The vibe was amazing. A beautiful colourful venue full of fantastic women and inspiring stories. The sisterhood bond was so touching. The fact that we as women can do great things when we support and encourage each other to overcome lack of confidence caused by male-dominance and male over-confidence. After the speeches by the Ministers for women and social development, four ladies talked about their journeys as successful women in their work. Each of these speakers shared their stories about how they got what they deserved in the workplace after passing through many challenges and realising their value and worth.
